I can't believe Canucks let the Conn Smythe winner and Stanley Cup coach go

I am starting the rage early

Get ready for it boys, you know it's coming.

9 goals in the regular season. 4 in the playoffs. Conn Smythe for sure.

Chuck Fletcher?

Or do you mean that Winnipeg will make a deal?

edit nvm.

His beard weighs too much. A man his age needs to have less air resistance.

James Reimer for his bench door work, best I've ever seen.

Thornton has always played small. Man his size should be able to clear his own path to the net.

Only time I've seen him get tough is with one of the twins. Such a goof.

Same could be said for a lot of big NHLers. Nash is another that does't use his size to his advantage.

Crosby or Murray, I think the nod goes to the guy who has the big name

It's got to be Murray, a rookie goalie carrying a team to the Stanley Cup? If they give it to Crosby it'll be because of his name/fame and not because he was the best candidate.

Yeah, Murray was the only one that has showed up for all 4 rounds.

Without Murray, they don't get past Washington or Tampa Bay, Murray was lights out in both Game 7s of those series.

And they would in a heartbeat. Trading pomminville, koivu o vanek are likely options. I expect to see some shakeup on that roster, they will ship or buyout someone with a big contract. If they trade a dumba or Brodin, it would (and should be) for more than we can afford after the eg trade. They need what we don't have: scoring forwards

Pominville & Vanek r tough to move with their anchor contracts.
Koivu at his age also.
Easier said than done IMO

Expansion draft move as well.

Married now, has to be handsome for the wife

Sergachev will help him out

- VANTEL

From the list earlier, we know he's into tkachuk, dubois, brown....we have no idea who he likes on D.
My preference is sergachev, so I like the list, but we have no idea who JB wants for D.

Joulevi, sergachev, chychrun all decent choices with good potential.

Back on to the OS spiel again...

If the Canucks r trying to fast trak the retool & not call it a rebuild then an OS for Lindholm or Vatanen or Dumba I'm fine with if $ & term make sense. The most I'd be willing to give for compensation is a 1st & 3rd for Lindholm & a little less for Vatanen or Dumba. No interest in Trouba for what he thinks he is worth. To add to that he has not played on a consistent level IMO worthy of a big deal. I also like us to sign Eriksson @6m/4yrs max. That allows us to go BPA or trade down this draft given the right deal is there & draft the BPA D available or Brown. Idk which team but stay in the top 12 still gets us a good player. Too many ppl equate 5OA as such a big gap from 6-12 & i don't agree with that assumption. Of course i could be wrong on any or all of the above ideas but thats what an armchair GM does

😜😜Cheers🍻
