Shouldn't you be on a conference call?
And for mononoke, no matter what happened to the clowns, I am sure they deserved it. |

Yes it would all have to happen before he retires. I think I may have been wrong about all of the options as it appears they could do a handshake deal to terminate so they wouldnt have to pay any salary. Seems like they could get off scott free - YuenglingJagr
That's a slippery slope. 35+ contract.

It s a delicate mix of stupidity, mind numbing boredom and a shocking lack of common business sense.

Bernie Parent and Bob Kelly are boarding and unmarked jet headed to Vinny's location, wearing waste management uniforms and balaclavas. He'll "retire" soon. |

A big reason why the Sharks and pens d move the puck up around so quick is that both units are equally balanced with LH and RH dmen. 3 and 3. It's not an accident.
Next year if everything is Status quo the flyers will go into the season with one RH dman. Gudas.
This is something that needs to get sorted out. It's why I hesitate to extend MDZ. Sanheim, provorov, morin, they are all LHers. There's not enough time for dmen to be messing around on their off hand
It's not going to get sorted out but Im getting tire of being so LH heavy. It slows us down. I would not be surprised if that shattenkirk rumor by Ek a couple months ago actually had legs.
Are we really going into next year with 6 out of 7 dmen LH? They have to be thinking about it |

I think Hexy takes a run at Demers. Less per year on the cap and don't have to give up assets. Where it gets tricky is to get Demers signed and fit under the cap this year and also have Streit on the team. It can probably be done with Umby bought out and Schenn resigned.
I don't see investing in Shattenkirk with Ghost already running the PP and Provorov arriving within the next two years. For me, Demers is the better play at this point.

No, it's not!
Safe spaces and trigger warnings maybe but not tin foil hats. The little snowflakes are fragile.

Ghost and Sanheim can move the puck from RD as well as any righty. Not saying it isn't nice to have all opposite handed pairs, but it is really overblown imo. If you're an elite puck mover, odds are you can play RD no problem. Hell some rare D even prefer it, though there are guys who don't. Depends on individual.
Some names I can think of that played off hand a lot or exclusively with no problems: Pronger, Coby, Hjalmarsson, Orr, Bourque, Niedermayer, Streit...my point is that it really isn't usually a problem if the defenseman has good-great puck skills. There's no way the Sharks and Pens wouldn't be even better puck moving teams with someone like Ghost playing RD. |
