This statement is very Howard Berger like. I don't know maybe I'm interrupting it wrong but this statement is just not true. Marner, JVR, Rielly, Gardiner, Kadri.... I could go on but I won't. I'm sure there are teams that want these players. The whole notion of if they're not leaders or superstars like Crosby means they don't play with heart and to win is just wrong. Just seems like an asinine thing to say about any organization. Very rarely will you ever see superstars traded so in the end it's the players with potential or support players that get moved more often than not. I feel like this fact makes his statement look even more foolish.

Not many teams wouldn't take Drouin right now, and Tampa didn't exactly win any gold stars with him this year. With Stamkos having one foot out the door, Stevie might have to ask for forgiveness and some cash to keep Drouin happy.

Two of our bigger trades to date...Reimer and Polak traded to the sharks....and Kessel to the Pens. Yeah, obviously trading for leafs is a bad thing Shannon.
