My personal opinion on that one is Nashville was in win now mode. Jones was expendable and Torts had a hate on Johansen. Nashville clearly won that trade imo. RJ is a #1 center they are just as hard to come by as solid defence. Not that Jones isn't going to have a long bright future ahead but Rj is only 2 years older and miles ahead at this point.

In the short term Nashville won the deal, but in a couple years the trade should even out.

Exactly, you have expendable D you can get a guy you know is a number 1 center and not a high draft pick that may or may not turn out.

Was reading some results from combine.

Dubois ranked high in a lot . Chychrun had an excellent showing , ranking highest amongst D.

Nylander had good strength .

Ronning surprised a few.

Finns have the biggest mouths.

High risk high reward. I would be fine with him as a pick. He is ranked 3rd best center some he is rated as 2nd best center because some rate Dubois as a winger.
