Cam Ward eh? Wonder what kind of salary he'll want? Perhaps the trade route is more feasible. Perhaps Anderson or a Tampa goalie, if the money works. I guess it depends on if we are fortunate enough to tie money up in Stamkos.

I agree, not the right guy for this team. Anderson is RFA and will cost, but I think he is a strong candidate for top goalie. Still need a backup and Bernier needs Lou magic (like Phaneuf) to disappear but the Marlies will need 2 new goalies and we should have at least one in junior or college.

I sure intend to be north of Muskoka at some point, and I will keep an eye out for those.

Anderson is quite good though so I'd say the cost would probably be worth it. Not sure what the Leafs would have to give up to make it happen though. Pittsburgh's 1st rounder or maybe the Leafs 2nd rounder? Same / same. I'm sure Lou will pull something off because no one outside of a few people on these boards is happy with Bernier going forward.
