To get Laine you would have to... Maybe even more. As much as I also believe Matthews is going to the leafs. I also think the Laine 2nd half of the year, should not be overlooked. Keep in mind Laine is almost a year younger than Matthews. He is getting bigger and better.

Matthews is still who I want as a leaf come sept. But, if we can steal Laine from the jets. I would have no problem giving next years 1st at all...

No I agree. Not trying to talk up Laine over Matthews. I just think that on paper this draft to me is just as good as Mcdavid Eichel.
