I dont remember much of Beck. I remember him getting creamed by Flat Patley in the 84 playoffs. And him & Dave Brown had a couple of love affairs in that infamous Ranger/Flyer pre season melee in 85.

his biggest rivalry may have been with Ed Hospodar, word is they couldn't stand each other when they were teammates, something happened on a road trip, and once Hospodar was on other teams things worse everytime he played

Yea, we talked about Martin a lot a week or so back. IF somehow he took a low ball deal he would be a great 4th line fit. Problem is some idiot is gonna give him a Prust 2012 type offer.

I am unsure what he makes now, but what do you think would be a good deal for Martin/team? 3 years 6mil total? I like his size and the fact that he seems like a greta team guy, but i think you are dead on in that someone will give him a Prust contract and regret it. I liked prust too. Martin is great ina 4th line roll, but i think hed get crushed if moved up in the lineup for some time.
