I vowed after 2008 when they left Shea Stadium in shambles after back to back CRUSHING choke jobs, couple w the 06 heartbreaking Gm 7 loss to St Louis I was done forever & stuck to it for 7 yrs but I hopped back on the band wagon last yr.

The Rangers and Michigan Football are 1A and 1B for me, but they are basically the same damn team. A lot of heartbreak with a one year respite in the 90s, 94 for the Rangers and 97 for Michigan. I am a Yankee fan, but I don't live and die with the Yankees. If they win, awesome, if they lose, I don't lose much sleep over it. So, given my 1A and 1B, it's been a pretty tortured existence as a sports fan.

I'm fairly certain there's a blogger on those sites that says pitches thrown in the 8th inning and plays run in the 4th quarter are the only stats that matter. And batting average and completion percentage are just luck.
