I'd go 6X 4 years for lucic. I'd go to 5.5x5. He can get more from somewhere else I'm sure but that's all I'd pay lucic. Let benning get his local boy at 8x7

Sure but he also said if the deal was right. He'd probably say that about all 30 teams if they potentially were gonna give him a boatload of cash. But hopefully that's an actual genuine statement I would love to have lucic on the oil. But if he gets over 6 mill he's not worth it. And I can't see him taking a pay cut from his last deal

Oh I agree, and if I'm PC, Hall, Eberle, RNH , the 4th are all available. There are plenty of veteran free agents we can overpay to replace them . If we can move Hall plus for a top pair D Man I would strongly consider it. I do have an untouchable list, but it's pretty (frank)ing short.

Well I don't know if there was anything to it but at the deadline there was a rumour of pouliot and yak for vatanen. So maybe if you sign lucic to a decent deal then that's a trade you could explore.
