"NHL is rigged for the pens to win" weren't you just complaining that pens fans "whine" about the refs to much? "Now the pens have fans all of a sudden" if they didn't have fans before who were the people you say were whining?

then he said "I highly disagree! pens are playing at 110% and they will fall back to earth soon. they are just a not so good team that is really hot atm".

DK had some pretty strong feelings on couture's comments. Didn't realize crosby won that draw vs ward who is around 40% on defensive draws - interesting call by the coach to have Ward taking the draw there.

I swear asking someone to admit a different team is just simply better even for just one game is like pulling teeth. I'd personally rather lose to a team that is better (even if only for a game or two) than be a better team and lose. The pens have done both in recent years and its not hard to choose between the two options.

Heaven forbid both teams are playing about as well as they can and one team, whether it's because of their talent, style of play, or what have you, is simply better than the other team. Nope, can't have that sensible logic. If your team is losing they simply aren't playing very well, and they let the other team beat them, or it's bad luck, officials, cheating, etc.

I mean, to quote Casey Kasem: "it's Phvcking ponderous man."

It was. And Sid won it CLEAN. I remember those earlier comments from LC after a 5-1 loss. Laughable.

At first i thought really nothing about the sharks. Now I think Thornton acts like a punk. Marleau or however u spell it is a richard and Couture is a cry baby.

Anyone have some fancy stats on turnovers by the sharks? Specifically Burns. They have turned the puck over so much, and most noticeably Burns. Just wondering the extent of that.

It's interesting that Mike Johnson went all in on team defense and got neither offense nor defense because of it. Sullivan, on the other hand, devised a strategy around the strengths of the team and its players and got both offense and defense.
