I was impressed with the Sharks up to the Cup Final. I think part of it is the Sharks' vets overwhelmed by the situation. It reminds of when the Pens first faced the Wings in '08. The players weren't ready for how competitive that other team will be.

Anyone see Ek's rant on the show yesterday? Its almost like he was trying to convince himself that the Pens suck. I mean I can understand the jealousy. He is a Flyers fan and hasn't seen his team win a Cup since 1975. The Pens have won 3 of them and are 2 wins away from winning a 4th cup. It's the same thing with Augellos jealousy of the Red Wings. 4 Cup wins since 1967, the last time the Leafs won the Cup.

But when you're running a site like this, try to be somewhat impartial. Who is Ek talking about when he says "everyone is counting the Sharks out..
"? If anything, all I've heard is how great the Sharks are and that they could be up 2-0 in the series.

Just admit the Pens are the best team right now and quit downplaying the Pens success. When my Wings were winning Cups, it was the same thing. Always an excuse why the Wings won. It's simple. People get jealous. Ek is no different. So if the Sharks win the next 2 games will Ek say the Pens are done?

It the Pens win the next game will Ek say that if the Flyers and Kings can come back from 0-3 then so can the Sharks! Keep the bias, jealousy and hatred going Ek. Yesterday was hilarious!

It's all smoke and mirrors. A break here and a break there and it could be the Flyers up 2-0 in the Cup Final. The Pens aren't very good at all. Their cloak and dagger play is ruining the NHL. Also according to Ek, Joe Thornton is having a great series so far.

Wow what a biased article... I am not a Pens fan but I do truly hate the Sharks as much as it appears EK hates the Pens.

From what I am seeing the Pens are dominating the games and great goaltending is keeping them in games that would not even be close otherwise. The problem for SJ is the tool they have used to beat the WC teams is speed and the Pens are faster.... Much faster. I hate to say it but the Sharks have looked good all playoffs and really were the better team until now.

Lets see what home ice brings for SJ, hopefully nothing but more losses. (Biased comment)

He is a Filly fan ... that should tell you all you need to know. I'm still waiting for the recaps of games 1 and 2. Funny, Pens win and nothing; Sharks use poopty ice to slow down the Pens in overtime and we have glowing article. A guy with little credibility left loses even more.
