But again, Boyle wasn't brought in for defense. Rangers already had 2 shutdown guys when Stralman was let go, Girardi & Staal. Hell throw Klein in there too when we got him 1/2 way through the season.

Seriously, it's clear that Rangers fans would still find ways to complain even if they win the cup.

The first off year since Vigneault took over but now many fans think he is an awful head coach and the team is just flat out awful all around aside from Hank.

I never cared about losing Boyle but Stralman is worth so much more than Dan Boyle, younger and a ton more reliable, he missed a bunch of games after that broken leg, I'll never believe differently that the culmination of moves including Stralman, Hags, Yandle both trading for and not trading at the deadline led to the decline, poor poor management

It's sickening but be prepared for the Hagelin Ranger memoriam to take Stralman's place.
