So just give Pittsburgh the Cup & lets move on to the draft & Free Agency.
- B2B76

I shake my head at wanting to make drastic moves to improve the team after such a bad playoff series.

Then I think, Rangers still had a 100+ point season, injuries to key players, and lost to a Pens team that additionally beat the Caps and Lightning; not to mention are also two wins away from the Cup. I mean, if the Pens got swept by the Caps, then I'd probably be more disappointed in losing to them, but hey...didn't happen.

Moves need to be made. Salary cap era says so. I would deal a few pogs in order to have the $$$ to resign our RFA's and revamp the 4th line with rookies and maybe resign VS. Gotta move two contracts (Nash and Staal or Girardi) to do so, but not trade away everyone to...well...just because.

You guys are crazy. The draft and free agency is already set. It's not gonna come quicker if the Pens sweep or if the series goes 7.

I'm hoping for a 7 game series so there's more hockey to be watched before the only thing on tv is facking baseball

I think we are all just pretty much commenting on all that we've read since the season ended, especially since AV has been quoted a couple of times now saying that they need some new blood and the Brooks column which said nobody is untouchable other than Hank, Buchnevich and Skjei

I just get the feeling there will be some big moves

i know the brain trust of the team smells major but controlled moves...
sign of good times comin..nash .1 center ,krieds ,1 vet d are the moves to watch
sign of bad times comin..they resign Krieds , dont trade a center ,beleive the are only 1 maybe 2 pickups & bushny from gettin back on top with the extra rest....
we willsee

IMO all have seen my dream of Stamkos but a lot has to be done to recharge
the NEW core group..DUMP the Dog ....Krieds that dog aint never gonna hunt
EXCEPT for his next fat contract based on the potential & crumbs he leaves us of is talent

My prediction for the off season. Moore & Stalberg are gone. Rangers pick up 2 role players.

Everyone freaks out and predicts the Rangers a lottery team.

My prediction:

Lundqvist is traded to Dallas for Kari Lehtonen, noted ginger Cody Eakin, and a 1st round pick

Glass is extended

Rangers sign Kyle Okposo 6 years $42M

Strait, Bailey 6 year extensions. Eric Staal 5 years at 6.5 mill. Lee & Strome traded for Yak. You guys will be busy this offseason

Nope, Snow is forgoing the Stamkos sweepstakes after he finds out E Staal has a uncle who has a best friend from New England.

Don't worry, I'll post something so they know they can come over here and sign up if they want to talk Rangers hockey.
