But you're also getting a first round pick back for Nash too.... - smellmyfinger
your right. He's a season removed from a 40 goal season, plays well in his own end, plays well on the PK but should MAYBE get us a 4th if we're lucky. . . Bc u know. . .
I think plenty of teams would take the chance on him. |

Oilers need that guy as the GM. Problem solved. - tomburton99
Tanner might write an even angrier blog than the Gormley one. |

Trade our only natural RW who makes 925k, coming off a 30 points season. Yeah let's do it. I'm sure that will also have a affect for the better on an already lousy Pk. - tomburton99
10 goals. 7 of them with a goaltender actually in the net. |

I agree but not at the price of a top six forward and first round pick. |

He's on the first line on any team. I proposed (obviously it would happen) but Nash for Palmieri+maybe a first and we give back a 2nd or 3rd. Everyone said omg how underrated I made Nash's value. A player similar to what Palmieri brings is what I would want. |

Nash only had 15. So Is Fast worth a top 60 pick or Nash a throw in a deal like Fast? |

I would personally drive to Pru center and punch Shero in the eye if he traded Pamieri and 11th overall for a 32 year old RW making almost 8 mil a year and coming off a 15 goal season. I don't care how many goals he scored two years ago. |

I'm just going by the terms set by you. Rangers need to keep the cheap contracts of players that are full time NHL players. So that means Fast, Mcilrath and Skjei.
If Jesper Fast is disposable in trade than so is Nash. Except Nash in his tenure as a NYR has been a concussion prone, playoff flake who has 7.8 million dollar cap it. |

Fast scored 40 goals at some point in his career that I'm missing?
I mean . . . Since we're comparing the 2 now. |

No. But nobody cares about a career achievement award when seeing a Name that is linked to an overpaid, somewhat injured, playoff flake.
Nash is to the Rangers as to Eric Staal was to Carolina. Carolina wanted a first round pick for Staal. Didn't get it. Still found a sucker when it came to NYR. |

Numerous articles have been posted about numerous teams with heavy interest in Nash if he's available. The same way Carolina found a sucker, we'll find someone. |

But don't you think the heavy interest is there because teams believe he can be picked up at a bargain price because of the Rangers current contract situations? I think interest would dry up if top 6 winger and 1st round pick is the price. |

With a 2nd or 3rd going back the other way and we eat 1mil of his salary? These suggestions obviously need little things to make them work but I don't think Nash for a top 6 RH shot and first being the base is too far off. |

AV loves Fast and Fast has a 950K contract this year on a capped out team, and can play all over the lineup
Fast is going nowhere |

2 pts .... 1 comin around to my idea of thinkin on the upgrade of team..
2nd if u knew what i found at a BBQ from ex NYR about the present players
1 definitely st0od out as a dog that wont hunt ..take into account the heresay
& exaggerating for affect value ....
But Krieds is a thinkin mans business type on skates ...no heart for the game ,players, cup..wants to his ROI in playin for 10 yr ? vs stayin 2-3 more for vested purposes...'
Give em a Brooks bro. siut & plop him on wall street but not on our team
he will erode the extra effort needed to get over the top from platers & team
who would sacrifice with that dogs fleas buzzin around ya ..... |

Joe Thornton looks like the minute this series ends he is gonna pass out for about a month, guy looks worse than a junkie. Gotta be rough to finally get so close to the mountain top, only to fall again. |
