Why part with your future #1 center when you can sign a current number one center, Stamkos, for solely money and keep Matthews protected as the second line center for a few seasons?

I fully understand Edmonton trading the fourth overall pick, as they need to make more of a now move but not the Leafs; not at the expense of a potential franchise center.

If the Leafs somehow find a to get Stamkos, that would be crazy. However, their blue line is still incredibly inexperienced and last but certainly not least, they need a decent goalie. Spraks looks like a decent back up. Bernier stinks and Anotine Bibeau looks like he might make a career for himself in the AHL.

I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about; playing G when insured was just awful. Specially when you have Wrath as the 7th. We all knew he should've played. It's really a lot of things he should've done differently. AV is probably one of the better ones though...

That Vigneault is being labeled an awful coach, because he showed loyalty to a very good but broken down Ranger, wasn't the best decision but it's a bad one in a sea of many good ones.

He's a very good coach and like Rocky so eloquently stated in Russia, "If I can change and you can change, everybody can change".

Vigneault deserves that chance to show he learned from the mistakes he made last season and I think he will.

Watched about 70 games this season. And in my book he made a lot of mistakes. A lot of idiotic mistakes as well. A few; how he played Boyler, Fast, pp, EStaal/Hayes...
