It's peanuts right now but they weren't pleased with his year this year overall and all the injuries. If he get's injured frequently again this year they may cut ties with him instead of signing him to an extension. Make or break year for him.

If it is maybe Murray gets an inclining if there's interest in 91's camp and if he believes there's not he goes hard on a trade for a guy like Nash or Perry

The thing about Zemgus wanting to get traded is likely just people jumping to conclusions. It is a fact though that the Sabres aren't sure what they want to do with him and if they can find a way to trade him to get a defensive asset Murray will do it as he doesn't really see how Zemgus fits into the current team.
