Oddly enough the first time I heard this saying was when a dude went running pant less through a public park in Melbourne Australia, while wearing a Pens jersey screaming it at the top of his lungs. At like 10:30 in the morning.
Ever been to Melbourne?

- Wildschwein

G'day mate.

Not surprising since I know if from a woman fighter in the UFC who's an Aussie.

Oh, Laine has also been injured. He injured his knee, more specifically his left knee while doing the VOX Bike or something. Another thing to note is he has a history of injury with his knee. He has had a surgery on it in 2013 as well. He has also had quite the history with leg injuries.

Will his current injury, past injuries and weak left knee affect how teams think of him?
Will this bring down his value at Draft day?
Could the Oilers actually snatch him at 4th if they wanted to?
Will it boost the Oiler's 4th overall pick's value?

One man's loss is another man's gain I guess?

No, Jabroni, his stock hasn't dropped. Do you not think all the scouts knew about his knee history all along or do you think you're some kind of Columbo?

Pouliot and Yak for Vatanen

Loucheech replaces Poosalot

- prismo

I think I'd prefer Pouliot to Lucic

But I'd take Lucic and Vat over Pou and Yak. I'm just not interested in paying Lucic big money/term.

I don't like watching paint dry on ice. I'd prefer Pouliot and Hall.

Btw we need a new Oil blogger. Hendo has been pretty (frank)ing lazy these days.

Really? Either you really like Sekeras or you underestimate Yandle. 29 years old, 6'1 200lbs. He averages a point every second game. Has great shot numbers, decent blocked shots. Except for 2 seasons in Arizona his +/- is great. Everything I have read says he is the target dman from the wide list of UFA's this year. I know Oilers have tried to get him in the past but this was before Chiarelli so kind of moot unless it was Katz that has a crush on him. I think he is easily a 1-2 guy and other than trade or offer sheet, the best guy on the market for helping the Oilers PP.

He's absolutely not as solid defensively

Give him those brutal minutes sekera played last year and he's even Furthur behind defensively

Separate issue.

I'm not necessarily saying dump Hendo, I'm just saying if those filthy Isles can have 2 bloggers why can't the Oil? Or if only 1 maybe get someone who posts a new blog more than twice a week.

Hawks threads are probably the least open to outside criticism, followed closely by Nucks. Both are cesspools of homerism.

Wouldn't surprise me if the majority of locations on this site are quotes from either Hawks or Nucks fans. They tend to have their heads so far up their favorite teams bumholes that they can't see that Sutter is not a #1C and Keith does swing his stick into peoples faces intentionally...
