Yeah, it'll be Stamkos, Matthews, Kadri, with Kadri getting as many tough matchups as Stamkos, Matthews facing weaker competition to start.

NICE...well that settles that.

Enjoy last place Hab fans.

If PK has a season like he did last year....he won't end the year in Montreal.

His season wasn't really that bad; his PPG were barely below average for him and he was still in the top 5 for most statistical categories among defensmen. The whole team was off after Price was out and the coach and system are much less likely to survive another season like the last.

He had a month where he made 4 or 5 horrible gaffs that resulted in goals.

If he starts out with a couple of those, I think the faithful start to turn on him. The honeymoon is over.

that's how you judge his season? not by the fact that he led the team in scoring most of the season, but because he made a few mistakes and had the poopty luck that some of them turned into goals?

Scored on backups and AHL caliber goalies no less. That guy is high, almost as high as the EDM fans that think PK for Hall straight up is a legit trade.

Clearly.

Look you dumb Wop. I'm just saying if the team struggles and he has some gaffs (like last year...see how my comment makes sense?) then I think he will be the scapegoat.

Teams best, highest paid player. Who do you think they're going to turn on? Mr. Vanilla (Patches)?

Until MT is gone, there is always target #1; Subban will take some heat game-to-game but thats the extent of it.

They won't get fair value for him and Hall is probably as close as they would get.

I don't expect Subban to go anywhere.

I don't expect MB to do anything useful this summer. Maybe get a couple of 3-4th line plugs because the team really needs it.

Oh yeah...and 2 or 3 7th-8th defensemen...because you never have enough of those.

Hall is 3 years younger.

When you look at both guys best seasons Hall had 80 points. Elite for LW. Subban had 60 Points Elite for D.

Now I'll give you that a number 1 D is a bit more important than a number 1 LW....but I don't think the value is that different.

I will also admit that I think Edmonton would look harder at that deal and be more likely to do it than Montreal...I still don't think either would do it.

Hall is looked at as a leader....I think they will make a move but it won't be him. Likely RNH or Eberle.

The team needs cap space if they get a top six winger on the UFA market. Not easy, but he needs to be looking to trade DD, Eller, Emelin or Markov (the easiest one to move among them). Maybe another buyout.

Bergevin will have more pressure this year. Molson will lose too much money if mtl miss the playoffs once again.

Wich is why I would not do it. It would only create another hole in the line-up.
