it means non-transgender. but it was created because it was determined that non-transgender is offensive to transgender people. and god forbid you use "normal".

so yes, they had to create a label for normal people to appease transgender people.

Boomers had it best. They avoided having to go to war, managed to be able to afford a house and a 2 cars at 22 years old, and with things going the way they are right now, they will have died or being reduced to vegetables by the time the apocalypse happens.
