I think Armia has to be on the roster and if he is sent down to the minors, he has to clear waivers. As far as lines go for next year:

To me our D situation is a crap shoot. We have our top 4 locked but whether we split them up between 2 or all 3 pairings is the question.. i'd guess the only way we split them up over all 3 pairings is if Morrissey makes the team which i hope he does. Not because Morrissey is necessarily ready for the 2nd pairing LHD spot but because it ensures he paired with Buff/Trouba/Myers rather than playing on the 3rd pairing with the likes of Postma/chariot/Stu/melci.

Really hoping Stu is done with the jets. He was a liability in every game-situation last year. But what to do with a guy with 2 years left on his contract? Can we really put him in the press box for 2 years?? If not would he accept a role on the moose? (I doubt any team would claim him if we sent him down 2.5ish million for 2 years.. no thanks) If not is Chevy willing to buy him out? All of these options have to be better than giving him NHL time for 2 more years.

So say Morrissey is in + our top 4, that makes 3 spots (2 press box, assuming we keep 13 forwards).
Have to think Chariot has the inside track for the 6th spot due to familiarity with maurice, all tho im not so sure his play last year has earned it.

And then depending on what they do with Stu there is 2 press box spots available for Postma/Melci/Kitchon/Stu, any of which (except Stu) could be battling for and stealing the 6th spot throughout the season.

Chariot - Myers

This still gives Maurice the option of teaming Myers with Trouba based on the situation. 3rd pairing (on paper) should not affect Myers minutes too much.

120 D minutes in a game divided up ideally would maybe look something like...
