Was leaning Pens in 7, but that convinced me it would be a little shorter.

Has anyone gone to a game outaide at the Jumbotron? BYOB? Seats and other info? May head over for game 5 but I don't want to spend $400 on a ticket. Better to watch at Jumbotron or a bar downtown?

Milano's Pizza is a really great place to watch. Jumbotron Nazis are a pain. Plus the really loud rock in between periods is freaking awesome. And the pizza and drinks are reasonably priced. There is an air of crazy hockey freedom at Milano's.

Yeah... its awesome, handful of food trucks always there. Get pick up pizza for it, a Fridays is nearby as well. Bring your own seats if you want them. Beer is okay, just don't get drunk since its outside and they don't tolerate that poop. Its pretty damn fun.

Took my son to every Finals game last year in Tampa, and it was the best part of Summer for both of us. Can't even imagine being in Pitt for the Penguin games this year. If you get the chance, go. Well worth any inconvenience. We were outside next to the channel...food trucks, five dollar beers, everyone behaved. More fun than when we were inside for game six.

I missed that one.

Another cool thing about being out there last year, in game one or two whenever the Bolts would score you could hear the arena go nuts before the big screen outside got through its delay. Well my son picked up on it, and when the scored again he was on his feet jumping and cheering four seconds before anyone outside knew. Freaked the folks out around us before they realized what was up, then it was just hilarious.

That was a great time, wish I could get dispatched up there in the next couple weeks so I could take him.

Thanks powerhouse and guile, may go to the Jumbotron for half then finish at milanos. Milanos is close by I'm guessing? Looking to be hammered all night.

Ah... I'm talking about up at Pittsburgh for their outside viewing. When we had the BIG area in the old Civic arena space, there were more food trucks. Had a version of Burgatory, a Perogi truck, a milkshake truck that did not include all the boys in the yard...

Now down at the one entrance, its just three or 4, one being ice cream, another being dunken donuts. But got all the restaraunts nearby to just get food to go at.
