You know what you idiot just stay out of it . Just because I don't like the pens doesn't make me a troll. Not that I give a poop what you think ahole. You deserve to be there you beat quality teams to get there and if you win you deserve it. So piss off troll.

Go out and buy a 90Inch TV like I did and get a superior sound system. Problem solved and you actually save money. Season tickets are a joke

Side note.... anyone seen the articles springing up today about Kessel and how happy he is being on the team and making it to Cup Finals? Definitely happy for him being grateful and actually showing emotion in interviews.

Weird that a player is happy playing on a good team that made the finals

Everyone has differing financial situations. I wouldn't have traded being the the house for game 7 for anything. Worth. Every. Penny.

Oh don't bring down the mood of Kessel's half a decade of having a sad face being over is fun to see. He was nearing Sad Keanu level of pouting.

While scrolling through Bleacher Report, they had an article on Rutherford's trades andone in particular stood out that I hated at the time... Lovejoy for Simon Despres... It's been a year plus and seeing what each has done and the contract that Despres has, I'm going to say that Rutherford won that trade too in hindsight. Y'alls thoughts?
- hipcheck_goalie

At the time I still believe JR should have got a pick as well. He definitely should have got more than just Lovejob. Who is to say that Despres wouldn't have taken a discount & could be a stud in our team? His concussion has done its damage I think.

This long layover is once again killing me. I'd like to say that it's good that we're resting up with guys like Maatta, Malkin, Sheary, and Kuhnhackl probably batting at less than 100%, but we always come out so damn flat after long layovers and we just can't afford that against a team like the Sharks.

I have no idea how we're favorites in Vegas. It feels like everyone is behind the Sharks 100%. Not many people are giving us a chance here. We're the dogs and the bad guys. Let's go out there and ruin a lot of people's days next week

It's a total hack job. A lack of character did not cost Phil Kessel a job. A lack of emphasis on the right things by management did. They made their aproach clear when they brought Tortarella on as the head coach and with it conceded any chance at a medal. Any dingus out there could have told you for free Peter Laviollet should have been our coach.

And what players pointed at Phil Kessel as letting them down in the metal round? The Phil unit the entire tournament was the only line that did anything. Kane, Parise, and Kesler were all invisible. Oshie had a legendary shootout but nothing more. Sure, blame the only guy that did anything the entire Olympics because teams focused on shutting him down in the metal round because teams quickly realized we were a one line team. Makes sense.

And then that final part "Who would have guessed that the Penguins lead by Bryan Rust and Matt Murray..." Umm.... Sorry to tell you but Phil Kessel is our leading scorer. He is very much leading this team to the cup, not Rust or Murray (granted they have been spectacular as a depth guy and a rookie goalie).

All these flavors, and you choose to be salty, Toronto.

He didn't just blame Kessel for underperforming at the Olympics. He said his teammates blamed him, which is wholey unrealistic

Exactly. Nobody ever brags about seeing something on TV.

I'm kicking myself for not going to game 7. Tickets were generally pretty affordable on ticketmaster.

I've been fortunate and been to a ton of games over the years. I went Crosby's 1st game with my GF/future wife 2 nights before I left for Marine OCS. That was a great memory. The game that was the best was the random December game my Dad had tickets to when I was home for College break. It was 66's come back. That was a very special memory.

Most are a blur and at this point, I have much more fun watching the games with my dogs with the windows open on a nice May evening.

I've only ever been to the one game earlier this year in Detroit. I love Ll never forget Kessel and Letang snipe right in front of me. I was pretty drunk and teared up a little on the Kessel goal. It was beautiful.

I really hope we don't get the come out flat Penguins tomorrow night after this little layoff. They've been notorious for it this year, whether it be reg season or playoffs.

I've been to see the Pens in Montreal 4 times but have only been to the Burgh once...that was opening night/inaugural game at Consol vs the Philth... The steel engraved ticket they gave everyone in attendance that night is probably my favourite thing I own... That or one of my 14 guitars...but i have 14... And only one steel engraved Pens ticket.
