I don't agree
I absolutely think you're playing the homer card .
Extremely comparable players. For the oilers, I actually like halls physical ability kamikaze game much more
Pure points - Tavares gets the edge . But it's far from a huge edge - HB77
Has Hall made any previous world teams..??

Maybe u should obtain another 1st overall pick... |

This is the point of the blog
He gets a bad rap #causeoilers
And They make poor choices all the time. And not just hall. Since when are they infallible?
There was a bunch of mistakes today. By every gm.
Some guys get a ton of media love that is undeserved. And some get the opposite |

Ouch.
Now that's a good one.
Look, I might have been a tad bit irrational, but Seguin, Tavares, and Hall are all amazing player that ANYONE woudl want on their team.
Seguin is a great sniper, Tavares is a fantastic playmaker, and Hall is a possesion driver that has an explosive first stride.
Lets just face the fact that each player has their better aspect. |

Who?
I don't think that dude works for the oilers. We're u under the impression he's chiarelli lurking on hb?
Or did u think this was a clever retort ?
Either way, I disagree with him about much of the topic, but your diss was weak. U can do better |

It's a joke hall isn't in the team.
But guys like Tavares and seguin who are not better players in any facet other than media hype, get constantly deep throated.
but he plays on the oilers.
And that's not even mentioning that he's undoubtedly the superior player to carter, duchene and Marchand
Bright side is there's no injury risk. But he deserves to be on the team - HB77
Respectfully HB, I think Tavares and Seguin are better players.

No, they wouldn't
Even more so with Connor and Leon now.
But regardless they still don't.
Why do they make the trade? What makes seguin so much better?
Other than media hype I mean
Halls skillset and style are much more conducive to the oilers needs.
These aren't slights on seguin or JT either - HB77
what makes Seguin so much better? Besides being an elite first line centre, better point production, and being selected to represent his country for international tournaments? Not much I guess...other than not being an Oilers scrub

I respect your opinion
But I don't
Especially seguin.
Jt maybe as he's got some winning under his belt. But it's very close imo.
But I think your sentiment is probably the majority sentiment. But a lot of it has to do with the team hall plays for. In my opinion |

Well I see it differently, isles were a laughing stock in league and JT still made Canada's team so I disagree on the Oiler issues causing Hall to be over looked. |

Hall has a better ppg. Or it's virtually identical anyway. Can't remember which
Hall doesn't play center. Your using his position against him ??!
And yeah is muzzin better than Brodie cause he got selected to Canada? They never make mistakes ?
Try and say less weak stuff next time |

Don't you guys female dog about Tavares defensive shortcomings non-stop. Wasn't your coach criticized for playing Tavares in the final minutes while defending a lead.
If that's the case then how good is he? You can't have it both ways and I'd say if you don't trust a player on the ice in the final minutes of a game then that probably isn't an overall elite player. |

He also as more experience I believe.
He has also been on the injury reserve for a lower amount of time.
All joking aside, I do understand why Tavares would be the better player, but the media does sometimes compare him to Stamkos, which imo, is an overstatement. |

Connor McDavid is one.

Saying "my guy is better but I'm not playing the homer card " isn't actually a valid retort
I don't feel I'm playing the homer card at all. I believe if he were on any team but the oilers, he's a slam dunk pick |

To 6 consecutive basement finishes. Plus why mess with his golfing season? |
