5 games in the leafs looking for a new centre to be #3. Why would the leafs go all in with stamkos and then go dollar days with bozak at 3?

I think that they are better with better players, plain and simple. It's pretty straight forward. Move bozak and use cap saving for ufa shopping, makes you better.

JVR, I am open to trading JVR - but he is a good veteran presence up front with so many rookies - better to move Kadri who is a waste at 3C and bring in something that the Leafs are weak at - def. Even without Kadri, Leafs would be solid down the middle with Stamkos, Matthews, Bozak, Goat (who I would like to see at 4c).....

Again, all dependent on Stamkos signing.

Playing a 3C as your 1 and 2C is, of course, part of the problem.

Anyhow, it's nice to have these problems..where we have a good amount of talent to debate on who should stay and who should go.

I don't know man, you take a look at Pittsburgh, Kessel's not a waste on the third line. If we had Stamkos and Matthews, Kadri would be pretty sweet as a third line centre.
