Obviously if we could get something for Bozak but I'm afraid a draft pick isn't much compared to what Kads would bring us....maybe a different D and not Trouba.

Jets have Scheifele, Little and Lowry down the middle. I'm sure they'd have zero interest in Kadri.
They may move Trouba but not for a Kasri type.

Leafs better off with kadri in lineup than bozak. Who cares what he returns. The value the player bring being in the lineup just as important.

Imo big mistake to trade a better player because you have a weaker player. Leafs sign stamkos and draft Matthews, become somewhat stronger down the middle..... Deal kadri and keep bozak and then they are scrounging to fix the centre position again because instead of having 3 strong you only have 2 strong.

Let's continue on other thread but using Kadri as #3 seems like a waste...he needs more ice IMO

Agreed, and clearly they just made a commitment to Kadri. After he's had some discipline issues with the team, it looks to me like they decided they've worked it out with him and like him.

Babcock clearly likes him. He's made strides and they just invested in him long term. I don't see him moving.

There have been some weird trades made, so you never know. There are some pretty dumb gms out there, maybe they can move bozak and use Jedi mind trickery to get something more than a used condom.

If think that if they sign stamkos they aren't going to half ass it with shoddy goaltending and such. If they do get stamkos I really think they find a way to dump some of those salaries to free up cash for other problems.
