He doesn't bring much more to the table, so yeah. Here's some of his other 'work'.

That's a pretty bold claim, sir. It has merit, but that's a horse race with many stallions. |

It's a dumb tournament anyway. Risk injury and lose a season for nothing. Phil's better off not playing because it's going to be an awfully short off season for the Pens. |

I'm a big fan of international play when it's the best of the best like they Olympics. Was hoping the Worlds were gonna be the same way but USA is run by clowns. |

The American team is stacked, players get left off. Oh wait, this isn't team Canada. It's team runner up.

So frustrating! USA hockey has come so far, granted this is not the Olympics, but this is still big, and still warrants bragging rights. USA hockey can legitimately produce phenomenal players year in and year out. For this to be the end result of a roster to play on a World stage is absolutely unacceptable and disgraceful. How somebody like John Tortorella was able to even be considered for a position like this is even more ridiculous, knowing how many personal vendettas he has throughout the league! Abdelkader, Callahan, Dubinsky, the Johnson's, are you kidding me???? Goons, grinders, and no-talent ass clowns may be how he won games some time ago, but unfortunately speed and talent is ultimately the name of the game, and with guys like Kessel, Shattenkirk, Faulk, Fowler, Okposo, Ryan, T. Johnson, Stastny, etc. sitting at home this American will be watching Hagelin, Hornqvist, Crosby, etc. |

I've put a lot of time into the ADM and helping to coach the future derelicts of this country. The kids I've tried to help aren't eligible for international play yet....I can't imagine how upset the coaches are that have had an impact on the eligible guys. Disrespectful and counters every positive move American hockey has made.

Ever since Crosby and Kunitz went to Sochi and came back and played like sh!t, I've had enough.
Even still, I can understand the Olympics, but this tournament sounds like a money grab. |

I gotta say every time I see Faulk play I think that kid is tremendous. His omission is near the top for me. |

I also keep forgetting that Shatty got omitted. That's super egregious as well. All the while, Jack (frank)ing Johnson is on the team... |

I disagreed with some of the personnel decisions that Canada and North America made, but no other team in this tournament actively fielded a team way worse than it could have... We are intentionally icing a B team... |

Right. Because it's a fact. Just like Stepan>>>>Stastny. - tomburton99
Stastny over Stepan all day, everyday, and twice on Sundays. And yes, I would say that even if he wasn't a Blue. |

Fighting for the Stanley Cup will comfort and motivate Kessel.
Who would want to play for Torts anyway? That is like fighting for a big jerk. May the Torts legacy be tarnished further. |

Could probably make a better team from the players USA left off, than the team they are sending...seriously, so archaic ways of thinking...hopefully USA will get crushed and will change the way do things. |

Well, the US was "stacked" with all those players in Sochi and we didnt medal. Think Torts and US wanted a "team" with grit. Not saying this is 80 team , but sometimes these teams are too one demential. Ot going to win this thing if US ices a finesse squad. Talent on Canada and Russia , etc is better,s o why not try a different approach and go against conventional wisdom
Hi, and put some agitators on team to slow down opposition. Just ask Crosby about playing against Dubi. Remember at Sochi US was good against round robbin opponents but was out classed in medal rounds
Also, I don't thinik it's a coincidence that many guys left off squad are still playing in playoffs or just lost. Maybe thought they be too tired and disinterested
I don't get jack Johnson though. Shatty is very good. Ti.e will tell |
