St Louis: Shattenkirk, Bouwmeester (?), Schwartz.
Tampa: Bishop / Vasilevskiy, Kucherov. (+ trade rights for UFA Stamkos)
New York Rangers: Kreider, Hayes (+ trade for rights UFA Yandle)

Apart from Tampa (GK) and St Louis (D), it doesn't seem there are any clear options for trade for Toronto..

Both Shattenkirk and Vasilevskiy would be great but I got to think Shattenkirk will be a target for most of the teams in the league. Still think they should just wait for the expansion draft to be sorted out before pursuing a goalie, hope for a bounce back from Bernier, only 1 year left maybe gets a bit of value and move on from him during expansion.

Never know. It may take 3 years it may not. Remember Kane, another former Knight, had like 70 points as a rookie. Now I'm not saying Marner will come close to that as a rookie but when it comes to pure talent it's hard know how long it takes. Sometimes things come together quicker when dealing with some pretty high end/elite potential.

Never know. It may take 3 years it may not. Remember Kane, another former Knight, had like 70 points as a rookie. Oh don't get me wrong, Im not saying that these rookies couldnt light it up, but I would be DAMN surprised if Babcock had a top line with a combined number of games played under 100.

Bring in all the talent you want/need....set up systems...get the players the needed experience...but don't "upgrade" the goalies
