That's a good question. Probably Stamkos, he's already a superstar. Nylander will move units as well, a lot of chicks will want that one.

Man, if they actually did sign Stamkos, and Nylander, Marner and Matthews are all on the team....Kadri and Rielly locked in, and if they are fighting for a playoff spot, with the ten different retro jerseys they're going to do or whatever it is, and the outdoor game, they might set some kind of NHL record for jersey sales.

Especially because I know myself and a lot of fans haven't bought a thing during these last years. A lot of pent up need to spend money on Leafs poop.

I really dig the 3rd jersey, but I wasn't going to buy the (frank)er since it came out.

This would be a solid point if Stamkos wasn't younger, better and harder working at both ends of the ice.

Stamkos 26. Last two seasons scored 36 and 43 goals. Has 312 goals in 570 games.

Kessel 28. (Turns 29 this year) last two seasons scored 25 and 26 goals. Has 273 goals in 750 games.

Let us never compare the two again, and never suggest this team is too good to need a 36/43 goal scorer who can put up top 5 nhl goal numbers despite "declining".

The issue here is health. Nothing more imo.
