I think Bishop stays. Vasy played well, but still has rebound and second chance issues. He hasn't played well enough to send Bishop packing.... Yet.
- Artyukhin76

The kid played very well. He was the reason this went seven to be honest.

You have a lot of RFAs that need to be resigned to pretty substantial raises. I think Stammer comes off the books, but don't underestimate the kid in goal. I wouldn't be surprised if Bishop is dealt in the offseason.

If you guys had to compare the Sharks to a team we've already faced in the playoffs, who would it be? I genuinely have no idea what to expect from them.

Yet, I can name a ton of their players.

Washington without question. A more experience Washington with a lesser goalie. No disrespect to Jones. He isn't Holtby.

It can't be understated how important it has been to get Sheary back to full strength and have Kunitz-Malkin-Rust finally finaly chemistry. I've been really impressed with that Malkin unit the past two games, Rust goals aside. If this keeps up, we finally will have found a way to role out three highly dangerous lines without the ideal personnel, and that might be the difference next series against a team that might have the best pure top 6 in the NHL.

Killer and Kuch are the two that will garner substantial raises. The rest should hurt us too much. I'm more concerned about moving Carle And Filppula.

Nothing to complain about last night. Everyone played extraordinary. The third was a bit touch and go but not a complete dumpster fire like Game 6's third.

Moving Carle will require a magic trick. He's your Scuderi for sure.

Carl used to be good. I'm a former Pioneer like him. That is a rough contract to move. But then again, we moved Scuderi. Brown and Paquette will get a decent raise IMO. The two you mentioned are due a healthy raise. The problem might not be this year, its next, when Johnson and Palat are RFAs. Same with Sustr if he continues to get better and oh, Hedman would be a RFA. That is where is gets sticky with Stamkos resigning with TB.

Arrow still pointing up. Made it to the Ecf without stammer and stralman and took us to game 7. Drouin was a mixed bag you could see brilliance then mistake. He's going to be a legit star in this league in the next year or so.

Then again, if that is Talbot, Geno should tower over him, so I apologize for being a Richard when it is wholey possible I am wrong.

Schultz looks great on the PP. Cannon of a shot and gets it through. I like him and Letang or if you want to rest Tanger then put him and Malkin on the point.

You could see last night the Pens kept pressing. Obviously the Bolts were going to have a really desperate push back but the Pens still kept putting 2 forwards in their zone pressuring and as a result the Pens had some decent chances in the 3rd as well. They didn't do that in the other 3rd periods they had a lead in these playoffs. I was extremely pleased to see it. That last 5 minutes though....detrimental to my health. I seriously almost puked on my couch.

Probably because it was so unexpected as soon as 2 months ago.
Who saw this coming, even as the team ramped up in March?
And it was so hard to vanquish the Bolts, they were like a Bad cold....

The fans were awesome. I was there. And we have to admit, for the first time since 1995, the Pens won a game 7 at HOME. Many of the fans hadnt seen a game 7 win at home in 20 years (or forever for the youngsters), all we knew was frustration.

Hate waiting till Monday...

- Amanion

Agreed. This is pretty out-of-the-blue. Would have loved to have had the stones to plunk down 100 on the Pens to win the Cup in early Decemeber. 20+ to 1 odds.

Does Stamkos stay or go? You did ok without him these playoffs.
- brienstel

Ok isn't good enough in ECF as you can see, but I think he's a goner.
