I wish there was a way to track all of the crap we say on this board for an accurate retrospective.

December 2014, this guy was the first to say Johnston would never lead this team anywhere. Took a lot of crap for that. Even suggested we needed a fiery coach not named Tortorella.

January 2016, this guy was the first to say we had a good group that could put it all together....even after Malkin went down and Jfkst lost his marbles.

I grew up in NY listening to Phil Rizzuto broadcasting Yankee games. So many people hated listening to him, but I miss him to this day and all the silliness that came with him

My Lemieux jersey is starting to show signs that it's seen better days. The stripes on the bottom of the jersey don't line up perfectly either. About 1/4 inch difference
My Kane St Patricks Day jersey has stout spilled all over it still from this years festivities..

My plan was probably to order a Letang or Kessel jersey once they release the new away jerseys next year. Probably gonna order a legit one from the Pens store. I find him to be an annoying , especially his shrill, he's a Capitals homer and I've actually heard him ask Olczyk to explain rules to him during broadcasts.

Having said this he does bring a passion to it which is more than about 95% of the other commentators out there bring, so I do respect that.

Bob Cole is my guy.

They really need to get Darryl Reaugh to do the colour commentary with Doc... he's the best in the business IMO

Yeah its true, hes not what he once was. I actually ran into him at a gas station on my street last summer. Shook his hand and told him he was the voice of my childhood. He called quite a few of the Penguins playoffs games on the road to the 91 and 92 cups. Heard his voice every Saturday night regardless of who was playing.

I couldn't agree more. His enthusiasm is so enjoyable to listen to. You can tell he actually tell he loves what he does and isn't doing it just for a paycheck.
