Wildly?
Not really. I think they are very comparable as far as their NHL upside goes. Both free agent signings that will be depth payers in the NHL |

I kind of don't care who wins the east. I guess if I had to pick I'd pick Tampa so SJ gets home ice advantage. |

That has to hurt if you're a Vancouver fan. A team that has far more losing seasons ahead of them too |

New potential rules.
First- and second-year pros -- including those playing pro hockey at any level -- will be exempt from the expansion draft. But if they're entering their third year of pro hockey, they're no longer exempt. Teams would have to either protect them or expose them.
http://espn.go.com/nhl/st...ial-expansion-draft-rules
You're going to see many players traded and draft picks moved with these deals based on not selecting certain exposed players. - dadeadhead
That's different than what was quoted earlier in the season. By a reputable source, TSN, McKenzie, someone like that. I just can't remember exactly who. They said players going into their third year i.e. Reinhart and Eichel would be exempt. Now we'd have to protect them? That blows monkey chunks.
Also, WTF spring? Why did you pull a Zemgus? It was cold enough to snow two weeks ago and now it's 84 (frank)ing degrees! |

I believe the earlier report is correct and this one will not pass. It makes no sense to have the rookies who finished their first season and then prospects they just signed who haven't played in the NHL yet to be counted as 1st and 2nd year players... Those players who haven't played a game in the NHL are considered prospects not first year players... I think it will end up with it being those who completed their first or second year are exempt. |

They can do all the scouting they want, Murray better trade half of those top 100 picks to either move up or get current roster players |

Effing league cancels TBL Arena viewing party because they "already had one this round". Apparently, if fans get together to have fun and watch the team in a crowd they won't watch on TV at home, and Nielsen ratings may not be as high.
The imbeciles who run the league have got to be a bunch of maroons |
