I still laugh at the idea because he is not getting paid either of those numbers for one year.

Good luck to him in getting that. Not happening.

probably not worth more than 2.25 per

This is why all the talk of Buffalo getting Stamkos seems like hear say or speculation at this point. Neither side can talk to each other. I doubt Stamkos has been even remotely thinking about Buffalo or New York or anywhere else right now. His team was just competing for the Stanley cup and he was working his ass off to get back on the ice.
That's why I don't buy any rumors that we have an inside chance at getting him nor do I believe that he loves Buffalo so much and spending time here. Haven't seen or heard of that before the one report about us being a potential suitor for him by TSN. Then all of the sudden people are saying they heard Stamkos loves Buffalo... Seems a bit contrived to me.

These days it seems like you almost need to have 1A & 1B.

In my opinion teams are way too quick to switch goalies in the playoffs only to switch back to the original guy in the end. I understand pulling a guy if he has a bad game, but it almost cost the Pens the series. Goalies aren't the most, shall we say, stable people. I would say it did cost the Blues, but the Sharks are just on another level. It should be a great series.

Hes in no position to demand anything right now.
If he does, he should get another agent.
He's one of like, 6 Foligno's on this team.

You need to have a back up that can step in and face the fire in case of an injurys
Flyers , Tampa , Pittsburgh , Florida , blues , Islanders all of them faced the fire

That's why having a good back up is a good idea

I'm really not looking forward to the remake. At all. "Scary" movies just aren't scary anymore. They're too, I hate using the word "commercial", but, like "The Shining" wasn't scary "boo!" but it was super creepy and gave you this uneasy feeling, but that's Kubrick for you.

They need to just leave movies be. Especially the good ones, and I wasn't a particular fan of the "It" miniseries to begin with. I think it was better left to the imagination. And how you make a feature length film out of a book that's over a 1,000 pages I have no idea.

Where did you see that I said you don't need a good backup? I was just saying teams are way too quick to switch goalies in the playoffs and end up going back to the main guy anyway. Unless in the case of injury of course.

I was just pointing out how important it is to have a good back up .

On your post..

But you have to look at their perspective your jobs most likely on the line and your trying to give your team a boost sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't
You have to win four games have to do anything necessary

Yeah, but the Saw series weren't really scary. They were more suspense. No cheap jump scares. That's actually my "guilty pleasure" movie series, I think I've seen every one. I like seeing how (frank)ed up a person is willing to be in front of the world in terms of a movie script. Pretty (frank)ed up is the answer. But you're right, once you realize that there's actually a way for everyone to survive. It kind of takes the wind out of its sails. I still enjoy them as something to watch if I just want to sit down for some mindless fun.

I hope SJS sweep them in 3.

I can't stand pens. Yes, in 3. I don't even want to see 4 more games of Pens.

I think the smaller pads for goalies next year will really have an effect on some of the goalies value. Need to really consider this when thinking about who the backup will be. May be wise to stick with younger, more athletic players with size who will be able to adjust easier than someone who is 30+.

I hate jump scares, I find them cheap ways to get reactions in movies/tv. I do like the Saw series though (and enjoyed Hostel, but never saw any of those sequels). I think I've watched through Saw 5 - it's definitely gone downhill the last 2 or 3. The original Saw was awesome though.

I laughed because even I as a pretty strong "give him another year before you ship him out" defender realizes how dumb it would be to give him anything near 4 million a year

I'll drive home from Albany and take him to the airport myself... and give him an overly salty beef on weck for the ride.

I'm in the same boat as you. Having this off year doesn't mean he's crap, so I hate that stuff...but it also means that he should realize a short extension similar to what he's making right now is all he deserves, so he can show what he really is.

Heartless Euros sunk the Caps, and the Bolts, no doubt Murray is aware.
I still say that we don't need Stamkos, a fast sniper for Eichel will do just fine.
A couple of moves, and we'll be able to run with the best of the East.
