When he says, "I hope to be back." To me the writing is on the wall. I think the lightning have proved their a contender without Stamkos why wrap up ten million in one player? They have some players to sign and they'll have room to add without him. I will say if they do wind up signing him I'd love to take a run at Killorn. Guy historically kills us. I'm a big fan of his game. - Cptmjl
Killorn is the kind of player that I wish Snow had been drafting in the 3rd round. Guy plays hard, with an edge, and pretty good hockey talent. 77th overall and he's way better than 9th overall Josh Bailey.......(different draft class, I know, but just an example). |

Yup, that's why I said he had "pretty good hockey talent". |

If you think Killorn over Bailey. How about kucherov few rounds after #5 overall strome. Same draft year.
Killorn would be nice add. I too like his game but he doesn't solved our top line LW Dilemma.

Guess what American forward looking for big payday once again didn't make team USA. Tells you he shouldn't be so greedy about testing the market. |

He's still a top free agent and team USA left off some good players and took Johnson and callahan....... |

Clearly the folks picking Team USA are the end-all, be-all authority. After all, at Sochi, the team they assembled won the gold silver bronze most over-hyped individual shootout performance... |
