I find it amusing.

The most arrogant team in sports. I am glad they are choking in an epic way. No way that lineup should be last in the division.

Not sure about that one.

More of a Raptors guy?

Theyre growing on me. The media is less obnoxious about them and they're in a series they apparently have no business being in. Only problem is that basketball is a terrible, terrible sport.

Pretty sure we all saw that coming. Also, need 7+ innings out of those starters if the pen is gonna suck.

If the (frank)ers would hit it would make it a bit easier on the pitching.

Yeah that's my issue. I just can't watch more than a few minutes of that sport.
Even if you tune in for the last 5mins of a game, it takes 30+ minutes.

The players and coach seem likeable, which is odd. I just don't like the league much.

Also, I listen to call in radio during my commute.

Really sick of the " long time Raptors fan, how come we don't get any respect?" calls.

I hate the complaining about the refs by the coach but otherwise agree.

The thing is, he's kind of right.

One of the problems with the league is that you get way more calls once you've put time in, which is ridiculous. It's always been that way.

They're fed that by the media... Canadian sports media have a sick inferiority complex. They complained about the umps last fall nonstop and now it the refs. Because Lebron James is the first basketball star to get the benefit of the doubt ever.

The reffing in basketball is as clearly anti Canadian as the umpiring in baseball.

Maybe but it's an established and accepted part of the game. No need to talk about it all the time.

Yeah, had the post-game presser on the other night. Canadian media seems so 2nd rate.

Ya it's nothing new, and frankly stars in every league get beneficial reffing. It doesn't warrant emergency status broadcasting.

I'm interested to see what happens once the Raptors get their big man in tonight.

I'd say the biggest issue is trying to figure out what a foul actually is

They're just always looking for the David vs Goliath angle and they're so offended that Anerican media treats Canada as an afterthought. Get over it. We are an afterthought. We have 2 teams in the 3 big pro leagues.

"So, does the rest of the league now see Toronto as an NBA city?"

Wut?

Same in other sports tho. Wtf is pass interference? Wtf is roughing or interference or a head shot? What's a strike or a ball?

Yeah it's stupid. But on the other hand it's kind of funny. Here you have a market/media that is used to being treated as though it's the Center of the universe. When you involve the Americans, you find out Toronto is about as significant to them as Milwaukee or Oklahoma City.

That biz block was a cut and dry foul, which is why it's funny that everyone was championing it for the reffing bias
