San Jose vs either of pens/Tampa is going to be fun to watch. San Jose team is scary as hell. I didn't think jones could carry them to the cup finals but he's been good. Whoever plays them better stay out of the box.

I think pens can win against them. but tampas injuries will be too much to handle if they meet san jose. which is why I want pens to win. not only for pens sake but for the stanley cup finals sake. I want a awesome final and I don't think bolts can give that atm. they will need stamkos and bishop.

Man it must be awesome living in your teams' town. After for years of living the football lifestyle at ND, I really want nothing more but to be able to experience the scenes at Consol and Heinz on a whim whenever I want. Either have season tickets like I did at Notre Dame or just wake up one morning, say (frank) it, and shell out some money for next week's game on ticket master. If we win the Cup, I may legitimately just drive out to Pitt whatever weekend the parade is and take in the atmosphere. This is probably the last summer I can do something so wholeheartedly stupid and irresponsible like that.

I went to the 91 rally after we won. I was in 4th grade at the time and I still remember it vividly. My sons around that age so I'm praying he gets that experience as well. Didn't go to the steelers rally in 05 but I was at the bar when we won. Everyone in the neighborhood was out on the streets partying it was insanity. Nothing like those experiences.

They're the one team that is as deep as we are down the middle. They're beatable. Not real sure how the styles match up but I'd love to see it.

I hope you're right.
And agree that a star studid SCF would be better for all.
Not sure what SJ's D is like but I'd have to think goalies are equal, centers are equal, they probably have an edge with wingers, and no clue what their fouth line looks like but I'd put our up against anyones the way Cullen and Fehr and Kunhackle are playing. Our PP has got to get going too.

That's all true but like most of us around here have been saying all season, finding/trading for top a 4 defenseman is very hard. Most of the time they have to be drafted and developed. He's also still pretty young.

I don't know all that much about the guy, but I do know a lot about Jim Benning. Wouldn't be surprised if he made a really stupid deal to try to get his lower lotory team into "win now" mode.
