Correct but right now there is a risk of playing on blood thinners while there are any remaining blood clots. If he decided to accept this risk and play game 7 it would be a turning point imo.

That game was (frank)ed last night... wayyy to many calls... Anyone have stats on how many powerplay points Marner got this year? Barely got to see him in 5 on 5 action last night.

I doubt he plays too but I don't see the correlation between him re signing because he is playing with Tampa in the playoffs.

If he didn't get injured, he would have been playing and I don't think that would have made a difference either.

I believe Tampa's other soon to be UFAs are watching how Yzerman treats Stamkos. Hedman and Bishop may decide to test free agency. They also have a boat load of RFAs too. Yzerman has been very successful building the team but seems reluctant to keep its core pieces together. If Tampa loses Stamkos and Hedman then its back to mediocrity. Tampa's Captains have a record of being poorly handled.

Toronto will face similar issues in 6 years if Marner and MA are as good as expected / hoped for.

Will be watching game 7 with interest.

I doubt Hedman will go anywhere.. Bish maybe because Vasi is capable and Bish has injury problems.
