I didn't like Guryanov so early, but he has an elite shot and a big body which seems to be the Stars identity. Nichushkin's speed to size ratio is amazing, but he needs serious development if he wants to become a Wheeler or JVR who are his contemporaries as successes...Pouliot being the middle group. - AdamFrench
But Nill is an amazeballs GM. I mean he got Seguin and Erm. ...... all the others

I'm truly surprised that nobody has written a piece on Gord Downie yet on here. It's not like he's not relevant to hockey. Sinden's nephew. Huge Bruins fan. Writer of more than one hockey anthem and perpetuated the Barilko legend beyond just a historical Leaf tragedy. Personally.... I think he may be as iconic to the sport as many of our greatest hall of famers.

Oh and anyone have a good Marlies link?
Thanks in advance - Seanook
Don't you think he's going through enough right now? No need for such cruel insults.

My buddy went to school with a girl named Sandy Poon.
I knew a guy when I was in high school named Gary Zbeitenoff - Aetherial
That is awesome. I wonder if Sandy's folks were aware that they chose a name that's also an adjective, with a last name like that. When you have one of those surnames with comic potential you've got to have some fun with it.
