Until they prove it on the ice no they're not. Sens fans before this past season expects playoffs and a playoff round win. Never happened. Why? Because they're a 9th place team. And when they're not they're a 10th place team. Or 11th.

Completely missed the point. Yes the Leafs are a bad team too though. I'm not sitting here denying it like you. Yes I would assume toronto and ottawa will live in the basement again this year. I think toronto eventually moves ahead. Better prospects. Better coach. Better management team. More draft picks amd a more sane owner. Just a matter of time but that time isn't yet.

Only thing ,that can make your point .Ottawa has the better NHL squad ,and some very good prospects as per usual. But we need an owner willing to spend money to push this team forward ,and have since we got the team,Ottawa doesnt need much to be one of the better teams in the east. But us being able to be able to get those pieces are unlikely due to this

Ottawa isn't even a playoff team let alone one of the better teams in the east. Better nhl squad for now, sure. Every team has good prospects but the sens prospect pool is one of the weaker ones in the league according to most rankings. Leafs have some good prospects too and some elite ones. Toronto has all the ingredirects hopefully they put it together.

That all said both are not very good hockey teams or even close to being a threat in the East. Not sure why you think this is a Sens vs Leafs debate just because I said the Sens aren't a good team.
