I think signing Staal to a 3 year deal with an aav of 4.5 would not be bad. Anything more would be ludicrous. |

To be fair, Yakupov is a solid player who A) is at the bottom of a depth chart full of riches and B) earned a reputation while playing under perennial jack adams contender Dallas Eakins.
This is still a guy who led rookies in goal scoring. At worst, which he probably is now, he is a 15-20 goal, 30-40 pt player
Imagine this guy on Tavares' wing - DeflatedPucks
I don't want to imagine a 30-40 point player on JT's wing, we''ve already tried that with numerous guys. Realistically i would trade a 7th rd pick for Yakupov, i honestly believe this kid is just a colossal bust |

Good luck with that, Ottawa should not do anything of the sort. |

I don't think Staal's contract is terrible. A legit 2C for $6M isnt all that bad. I get the term is long but a shut down center with offensive upside will still be a tradeable commodity in 4-5 years.
Hell, even if the Pens season end in a cup win, I would still try to trade Malkin for Staal + if they want to move on from him. Crosby-Staal-Bonino is still the best center group in the league.

Yeah. Pulled a full-sized shotgun out of his rugby shorts and shot him directly in the face.

Yakupov either ends up in Montreal or a team ready to buy low on forwards (typically NJ or Carolina)
Radulov will most likely end up in Detroit. He's been there already a couple times and I know Kenny is trying to buy low on a potential 25 goal guy....
should be a very busy off season for a lot of these "rumoured" teams |

Better that than pulling another full sized object out of his shorts and killing him with a direct shot to the face. |

Depends. If enough time had elapsed between shots the velocity alone might have killed him. |
