If he's selected for the team they can't hold him back, you have to let big time players play with the best in big events, even if the World Cup is a sketchy idea. |
|
|
|
|
|
Playing at a high level against the best in the world is as good/better at getting ready to play.
Issues would be getting to know teammates and systems.

That is so unbelievably dumb. That automatically gives teams outside of NA an advantage.
I mean seriously, team Europe other? Team NA U-23? This tournament is a joke. A gimmick. Olympics are the real competition. |

This is how I feel. Who wants to cheer for those teams? If there's not a strong enough field of international teams for a tournament, the NHL pulling out o the Olympics isn't going to help the profile of the game. |
