nah but seriously. last year they were hovering around .500 all the way to like july but this year is different. there are two .600 teams in the AL east this year and the jays run differential is significantly pooptier this year than it was last year when they were around .500. not as much sign of life this time around.

They don't seem to have anything. Can't hit for average. HR's seemed to have diminished, a RF who's route running is God awful, bullpen is a cluster(frank) as usual, starting pitching is dubious (but mostly holding their own).

Starting pitching is top 10 in the league leaders for ERA. I thought this season it would be the starters getting killed, but bullpen had promise. (frank) was I ever wrong. I'd rather watch Ben Revere steal and stack up hits than Drew Storen allow the other teams to do it.

Guess Van wanted the RHD. Gudbranson isn't useless, but I'm not sure he's the game changer he was thought to be. He'll do better against the California teams than the Alberta teams I would think.
