It is not an expensive contract... Its quite cheap for a defenseman that has lead the team in +- the past two years. He has visible gaffes, yes, and had a bad spell of games last year but it isnt the end of the world. If they can bring in 1 great defensemen to lead the core. Kevan will fall into his role well.
