Yeah, in a lot of series there is a guy on the other team I think takes liberties and does cheap poop. Haven't really seen anyone on Tampa be sneaky or dirty though.

And the fact that they are accomplishing what they are without Bishop or Stamkos? They may look bad so far tonight but this team has my respect.

Bishop I don't think is a huge factor... they have their own stud rookie backup.

Love that shallow backcheck pickup and quick turnaround by Sid. I feel like Datsyuk used to do that a lot. Everyones looking around, "wheres the puck?", and he's making a break for the net. Sharks mentality, opportunistic, love it.

Helluva playbat out of the air by Kessel too.

And good for Tanger... nothing spectacular but that perfectly fine.

Go Pens.

second all this.

tampa is legit. very balanced. come at you in waves. kucherov is a full on star. drouin is filthy. when callahan is on like he is tonight, he is a (frank)ing handful.

and bishop may be good in his own right, but vaslievsky was one of the most renowned goalie prospects in the game. he is showing he is a stud.

I can't stand the guy, but Callahan has really impressed me. I thought he was done. He's a wiener and all, but very impactful this series

I'm one of the biggest fans of these guys. I rarely ever criticize the stars, but It's time to be "clutch" in the playoffs. Time to show the world what we see on a nightly basis. It's fair to expect players like Sid and Geno to be in the top 5 in scoring in the playoffs....that's all I'm saying.

100 percent agree. i'm as big a crosby fanboy as youll find. every game he has 3 or 4 passes that maybe only 3 or 4 guys in the league would even try. but then its just bouncing off of people, things arent getting done. he needs to have that level of determination to go through to the netfront himself. and im with you, that hasnt always been there.

i know ive been trashing him bad the past few days, but thats only because i love him so much and expect so much too. admittedly, malkin had games this postseason where he looked good but was playing with 2 dead fish. his wingers have stepped up. and the past 2 games, he had as big a hand in the losses as anyone.

both are there and engaged right now.

i just dont know if his body can take a full regular season the way he plays. i think he knows this. so i dont think you really see a full callahan in the regular season, because he knows this is when it counts and he simply wouldnt be available if he did.

he isnt an offensive star, but he is balls to the wall, and compliments the finesse skill guys on TB perfectly. he will be a pain in the Richard this upcoming period.

Malkin needs to be better still. I can't let him off with a secondary assist and some expected play for most of this game. If he's going to talk like a big timer he better play like one and make it obvious to the casual fan that he's the best on the ice.
Just my opinion.
Hes Conn Smyth winner... this isn't too much to expect.

I agree. I still think everyone can be better still. But it's nice that the three guys I've been calling out have been having good games and found the stat sheet. It's a start.

Can't sit back. We have seen a three-goal lead evaporate this playoff season before.

Keep the pressure going. We should find out pretty quick what type of mindset they've got.

Already hate the first shift...
