I'd love for him to replace Letang, but we need Letang to play D if Malkin fuks up. I hate Letang trying to QB the PP. He's just not good at it.
- madmike71

I agree. Tanger is better off as a shooter than a QB on the PP. Some of his best work was with Paul Mart feeding him. And Sid from down low back up or back door even.

He can score moving across the blue line but he needs to be moving and a lot of times our PP seems too stationary.

Malkin and Shultz up top then?

Letang cannot hit the net for some reason.

With the amount of bad rushes we've been giving away... Why not both Letang and Schultz on the top PP. Malkin to be the big dawg on the 2nd one.

We have two of those hotheads that would get caught retaliating. The other is 58. Can't have that happen.

Its even odder (if thats a word) that the saying "we're coming back to pittsburgh for game 7" would potentially nail himself to the wall with stupid penalty that could cost us the game... like, makes zero sense.

Anyway, up 1 zip!

I'd have not problem with that. Worth a try. Shultz hits the net, has a rocket, and gets his shots through.

We can't forget that when he first game into the league he was a point per game d man until Edmonton completely wrung him out and hung him to dry without any other capable D man and a young weak soft forward group. Theres a serios player in there somewhere.

The play they are highlighting right now... Look how open the backside of the zone is... any pass cross ice was so wide open for them. ~_~

Playing Bennett last game was a good play. Sheary looks completely reinvigorated.

Every single pens player should be battling like Callahan on his last shift.

Really wonder what the ref was asking Letang about... seemed pretty nonchalant.

Thats a bit of a roll reversal, usually we are on the receiving end of the counter attack goal after a solid shift

Nice play by Bonino, Sheary and Hornqvist there. Goalie had no chance. Letang placed that perfectly

Meh. The Sheary of the prior 6 games had no business being in over Bennett. Healthy Sheary is a different player of course.
