Gotta remember JVR will be back and hopefully stay healthy. Zaits and Carrick should boost the blueline.. The Leafs looked a lot better with Nylander etc playing... Add in Matthews and Marner too... thats a lot of changes.. I dont expect either to put up 80 pts... but 60 may be doable.. 50 is likely...

Tavares would never sign for the Leafs. I'd actually bet he, if leaving NYI, goes to Buffalo. Not kidding either

Seriously though, I don't really want another tank season, and I understand none of us can see the future, but I still think we could do with more elite players. I'd love them to skyrocket right from next season, but I feel there are still large holes that need to be filled and we may fall short of achieving the ultimate goal.

Again, no one knows the future but you sure as poop ain't getting a number 1 dman via trade nor free agency. I think Rielly needs help as a 1A/1B tandem

Kucherov is great, must make loosing Stamkos a little easier for them. I'm sure they perfer Kucherov at 6-7 then Stamkos at 11.

I think alot of the teams that have a ton of money locked up in 1 or 2 players are screwed.. TB is very well balanced.. depth on the 3rd and 4th lines..
