Marner was a beast on the PK last night. So impressive. I'm not saying he shouldn't make the team but i can't help but feel just one more year might be best. Especially since we have a lot of youth ready and deserving .and to stagger contracts.

I think putting Marner back in the O will hurt that.

Sheltering him on the Leafs against other team's 3rd lines and D pairings with Kadri and some gritty vet like Leo might be best for that.

I think it's more about his physical development more than his talent. At least for me. Again though, I'd be fine with him making the team.
