I agree. If Stamkos does not happen then Ladd or Lucic need to be signed. - ses111
In order I'd prefer
Lucic, KO, Eriksson, Ladd |

If you figure all 4 of those guys will get around 6 mil per, lucic is the only one I think would be a target. Ladd would help, but would need to be less money and I think he gets that from someone. |

I would not overpay on Ladd, but if the Isles miss on Stamkos or Lucic they might be tempted to go higher on Ladd. - ses111
Rather Brower than Ladd, just sayin.... |

Brouwer or McGinn would be nice especially if we got Stamkos. |

Brouwer may stay in STL but would like McGinn & Shaw as 3rd line centered by Barzal........

Barzal is more of a top 6 player with speed and skill 3rd line is usually more of a checking role |

I agree but it might not be bad to start him on a third line. |

I'd like to see barzal make the team or at least get a 9 game tryout but we all know how the isles (frank)ed up Nino and bailey rushing them ( in ninos case rushing him to center 2 scrubs 4 minutes a game on the 4th line) and are now hesitant to ever give the kids a chance. He's proved what he had to at the Jr level and can't play in ahl so give hime a shot if he deserves it. Plenty of young kids have stepped in at his age look a Larkin last year he was drafted at #15. It would be nice of the isles had a rookie for once that came in and lit it up |

If it wasn't bc isles had too many 1way contracts last year, kid probably would have made team, but Snow likes to use the 2way contracts to his advantage no matter how well someone is playing, it took allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll season long to finally bring up Pulock... |

Anyone else want iginla from colorado if he could be had for a pick? Good depth player, gritty and a vet who knows how to lead
Im not convinced adding ho sang to a trade is what other GMs will want. He was passed up by alot of teams at the draft and sleeping through training camp didnt help him any
There is a video on youtube of ho sang trying to come onto the ice and his coach pulled him.off the boards back onto the bench
I dont see the isles making a big trade because we dont have that much to offer. Bailey, grabo, halak, kuli are not going to bring back taylor hall.
Free agency garth needs to sign a few big names
No more bargain bin guys

Hamonic wanting to stay killed the hall deal and halak needing surgery hurt any hopes of moving him and bailey is bailey. Garth knows with ko leaving he needs at least 1 if not 2 upgrades at wing and he doesn't have the pieces to do it via trade unless he parts with a prospect and that's rare for him. I think they are going to be forced to go the f.a. route and spend some coin. Let's pray it's a couple of big moves like the caps with oshie and pens w kessel
Edit: I know those were trades just want big names if they make sense |

Guy has better 5 on 5 numbers than some great players that played 20 games last season. He's a hard working guy. Exactly what you want on a third line. |

I think garth makes his move at the draft and its for someone we dont see coming.
Our 1st (19th i think??) Doesnt make sense for us to use. We dont need anymore prospects and there are a few rebuilding teams or teams looking for a shake up that will want it along with mkre
Unexpected targets for garth
Brad marchand - as much as i hate him boston might look to shake things up and show the rest of the team.to pick its sh!t up
Jeff skinner- small and injury prone but when healthy could be great next to JT. Might be had for our 1st a prospect and a roster player
Max pacioretty- blockbuster deal like the rick nash trade (3 for 1) i think the media blames fhe american for the teams disaster. Another team that might want a shake up
Zach parise- idk how a trade would work but god he would be great next to JT
Perry- ducks already fired the coach and seem like they want to shake things up. Again idk what they would want but we have some young talent they might like
