Morning Ladies and man ( you can fight amongst yourself to figure out whom is the man, but we all know it's the guy who fishes )
What would a realistic off for a Ho-sang be? Is he still a work in progress or has he burnt his bridges? - DuranDuran
What's a fair offer these days for top prospects? I can't see them trading him unless he is part of a package deal for something bigger |

I don't come here very often but when I do there is the guy with the Fish avatar and he is always talking about going fishing, Can't remember his name something like Cpt1433.
Anyways, reminds me of this Jack handy quote.
“We used to laugh at Grandpa when he'd head off and go fishing. But we wouldn't be laughing that evening when he'd come back with some whore he picked up in town.”

Yes. cpt is lurking somewhere right now I'm sure. Except, he usually does his lurking around elementary schools when he is out looking for his next child-bride.
Regarding Ho Sang, like Vukota said...what is the going rate for a top(ish) prospect? He would likely be part of a bigger deal for a more established vet that you wanted off your books. In the case of the Flames, I can't fathom there would be a deal to be had. You guys aren't moving Gaudreau, Monahan or Bennett. Unless they wanted to move out Gio because he's about to become very expensive until 2022 and he's already 32yo. But I can't imagine they'd want to get rid of him under any circumstances. |

IDK, that's why I am asking. Flames have a couple smaller LW prospects in Klimchuck and Shinkaruk. Both were first.
Neither are anywhere near elite but they also don't come with the baggage of Ho-Sang.
Ho Sang would definitely fill a need for the Flames, just wondering to what point his worth has slipped, if at all.

Last thing isles need are small forwards. We'll he was sent home on the 1st day of camp last year for sleeping in but I wouldn't say he is in the dog house yet. He pulls that shat again this summer and he might be gone. Excited to see what he can do in the AHL next year |

Yeah I can't see the Flames moving Gio anytime soon. But you could have a Wideman if you really wanted..... |

Some news on your boy

There is word of a snag in Vadim Shipachyov's status. He may have to fulfill another year in Russia before coming to the NHL. |

Put it this way, if the Isles don't get at least one of the bigger UFA (Lucic, KO, Stamkos, Eriksson) they will take a massive step back next year unless Strome turns into a 70pt player. - Danformo
Isles need to get one of the big FA's. If they still cannot get one big FA off of this year it's a bif problem. I think they will get at least one and maybe trade for another winger. |

I'm fine with him as a secondary guy, but not JT's wing. |
