Wingels is the new Ott in this series - He has made a lot of late and interference type hits (Fabbri, Shattenkirk, just to name a few recent ones).

Aside - Does anyone know what jaskin did to get Polak so riled up? Looked completely one-sided the other way but Polak's post game quote sure seems to suggest that Jaskin did something.

Shattenkirk got Wingels pretty good.

Otter appears to be in the press box because of the previous trips to the other box on the ice in the earlier games.

I thought that Polak was reacting (overreacting, actually - even I thought that was a little excessive) to a stick or something that came up on the previous Sharks player that Jaskin tangled with before Polak got into the corner with him.

Dude... Please get over yourself. It's a hockey blog site. If you can't handle your team losing games & people talking about that with fans from other teams in your presence, don't watch & don't post, but don't go throwing the "troll" label around by accusing people responding to a thread and that folks are "breaking Hockeybuzz rules" just because you disagree with a point of view from an opposing team's fans.

Are you going to petition Ek or "Jammer" to institute policy that Sharks fans cant post in your precious Blues blog? More like the people's republic of St. Louie, isn't it? Jesus Tap Dancing Christ....

You realize that you invite the harsh responses because your posts are so inane & long winded & egomaniacal, dontcha?

Even Blues fans agree. (See War & Peace post above)

Thanks. I had no idea my posts were egomanicial, long winded or inane.

Now I can ask my shrink what he thinks when I see him next week.

You are so kind to point these things out. You know you are a hero. You just saved me. Did I use the word me too much in this post? Ah hell I fear I am too egocentric and consequently selfish to ever be a good, empathetic person such as yourself.

Thank you so much

P.S. I have read Tolstoy's War & Peace. That book was literally so much longer than any of mu posts. It took me two weeks to read the damn thing. But it was worth it.

So I guess every time Roman has crossed the line he deserves to be beaten in the back of the head. Seems fair and legit.

This was a mystery to me too. Maybe Polak thought he was slew-footed or something highly offensive was said, because even aside from the way Polak went at him, when he was being ushered away he seemed much more agitated than he should've been. His head looked like it was about to pop right off his shoulders...

I watched when Jaskin fell back on him. I assumed he must have got him with his skate or something in the nether region. I watched it a few times and could not make heads or tails of it.

That's what I was thinking.. Looked like jaskin or whoever it was wrapped his leg around Polaks when he fell down. Didn't look that serious but Polak clearly thought it was

You're entirely welcome.

I'm glad we understand each other now...& I'd up the visits to the therapist to maybe 2-3x a week.
