Both were literal punches - one from Burns on Tarasenko's ribs and one from Thornton on the back of Petro's head. The latter I had not seen until this am.

Edmundson's check was dumb and bad.

I saw Jumbo Joes punch to Pietro live and was like how did he not get a penalty

JE's hit wasn't shown again so I only saw it in the corenr of the screen but it looked late and dangerous

I didn't notice BB punch to Vova but with everything that happened to Vova in that game it was bound to happen

He was abused big time and way over the line IMO

Meh, it's the only thing you can do when you're getting your rear-ends handed to you.

I hope to see a lot more of San Jose frustrations boiling over.

God remember when that used to be the blues

Especially in the late 90's vs Detroit

Two more games of it preferably.....

As to your other recent post, your wasting your typing. Many wonder sometimes about click creating vs actually believing in that scenario.

Reaves is skating in the optional skate, not with the scratches like he had been. Upshall is skating too.

Backes and Fabbri are of course taking off the optional skate. Will one or both miss tonight's game? I'd say is definitely possible.

Reaves - probably staying ready in case he's a game time decision to step in.

I'll be concerned if neither Backes nor Fabbri can go.

At some point this teams HAS to get something out of Tarasenko. They're fortunate to be 2-2 in a WCF with such little contribution from him.

I'd feel a lot better if this team weren't playing so poorly on home ice this post-season.

Tarasenko had a much better game 4 imho. had a handful of good scoring chances but needs to bury some of those of course.

Release Reaves. Let him take a couple runs at Dillon and then lets see how tough he thinks he is.

I agree he reminded me a lot of Brouwer in games 1-3 just not quite on target

He is due for a big game like Brouwer had in Game 4

Is relying solely on advanced stats the new "book smart"?

Probably a precaution. Backes and Fabrri are likely both game time decisions.

Right but assuming Upshall was healthy, I'd much rather it been him than ott.

I have an idea about this but I'm not sure the site would like it

I was thinking about mock interviews. A HB poster gets to play the role of interviewee

Could be fun picking who should play whom.
